Chess Time - Multiplayer Chess

Chess Time - Multiplayer Chess is an online chess app that lets you play against real people from around the world. It connects you with opponents across different countries and time zones, featuring built-in chat, customizable boards, and automatic rating calculations. Each match can be played at your own pace, making the experience convenient for correspondence lovers.

Chess Time - Multiplayer Chess at a Glance

The platform focuses on correspondence play, where thoughtful, unhurried moves are the norm. You can search for opponents from nations such as the USA, the UK, and Germany, or simply wait for a challenge to arrive. Once connected, a clean interface keeps the focus on the board while optional features handle communication and game records.

Tools for Serious Correspondence Play

For asynchronous matches, the app automatically tracks every move and keeps a complete history of your games. Each account receives an ELO rating that updates after every result, so you can measure progress without extra calculations. If you want to study outside the app, you can export games as PGN or share key positions as screenshots. Unrated games also let you test new ideas against stronger players without affecting your ranking.

Personalize the Board and Build Connections

Different chess sets and themes let you change the look of the board to fit your mood. The in-game chat opens a direct line between you and your opponent, making correspondence games feel more social. Tagging favorite players as friends makes it easy to invite them back for rematches and curated competitions.

Track Your Progress and Climb the Leaderboard

A worldwide leaderboard ranks players by rating and country, offering a healthy sense of competition. You can always find someone stronger to challenge, especially through unrated practice matches. With its combination of social tools and stat tracking, Chess Time - Multiplayer Chess gives correspondence players everything they need to improve while enjoying the game.
